Why is it that when you oppose ONE unconstitutional law like SB1070, activists against immigration?
Q. immediately call you "pro-illegal" and say that you do not want immigration laws enforced? The open minded Americans opposing this law have never said that they do not want immigration laws enforced, nor do they condone illegal immigration, they just want humane and logical means of dealing with illegal immigration. Why do activists use these labels on a daily basis?

Conservative media have claimed that parts of Arizona's new immigration law are similar to federal law and that, therefore, the law should not be controversial. In fact, the immigration enforcement powers given to local law enforcement under the legislation represent a dramatic departure from current policies and would, according to many experts, lead to racial profiling, strained police resources, and distrust of law enforcement within the immigrant community.
